四川传媒学院是一所专业的传媒院校，创办于1991年，位于成都市青羊区。学院占地面积近20亩，建筑面积3.8万平方米，是四川省唯一一所以传播学为主导，新闻学、广告学、公共关系学、影视文化为辅的多科性大学。

四川传媒学院有四个本科专业：广告学、公共关系学、影视文化、传播学。广告学专业始建于1991年，是四川省唯一的广告专业院校，公共关系学、影视文化、传播学分别于1995年、1996年、1997年开始招生。目前，四川传媒学院有在校生2000余人。

四川传媒学院开设有21门课程，包括13门通识课程和8门专业课程。通识课程有：思想道德修养与法律基础、大学英语、毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义理论体系概论、马克思主义基本原理、形势与政策、计算机应用技术、大学体育以及选修课。

四川传媒学院的师资力量雄厚，目前有教职工200余人，其中教授36人，副教授60余人。近年来，我院还引进了一批海内外杰出的教师参加教学工作。如今，我院已成功地吸引了一批杰出的师资力量来成都从事教学及相关的科研工作。

四川传媒学院注重实践教学，开设有“三位一体”实践教学平台——“新闻实习中心”、“影视实习中心”及“广告实习中心”。近年来，我校还开通了“电子报道实习”课程,学生可以在电子报道实习中心进行电子报道方面的实习,从而使得我们的实习效果得到了显著的提升。此外,我校还开通了"影视制作"课程,学生可以在影视实习中心进行影片制作方面的实习,从而使得我们的实习效果得到了显著的提升。

四川传媒学院不仅注重理论教学，而且重视实践教学。通过理论教学和实践教学相结合，使得我们的师资力量日益雄厚。同时我们也注重对外合作办学。目前我们已经在意大利、法国、德国、日本、俄罗斯、加拿大开展交流合作办学项目。此外,我校还将在未来几年内开始在北京,上海,天津,重庆,河南,湖南,广东,海南,台湾等地开展交流合作办学项目。

SichuanMediaCollegeisaprofessionalmediacollege,whichwasfoundedin1991andislocatedinQingyangDistrict,Chengdu.Thecollegecoversanareaofnearly20muandabuildingareaof38,000squaremeters.Itistheonlymulti-disciplinaryuniversityinSichuanProvincewithcommunicationasthemainstayandjournalism,advertising,publicrelationsandfilmandtelevisioncultureasthesupplement.

TherearefourundergraduatemajorsinSichuanMediaCollege:advertising,publicrelations,filmandtelevisionculture,communication.Theadvertisingmajorwasestablishedin1991.ItistheonlyadvertisingmajorcollegeinSichuanProvince.Thepublicrelations,filmandtelevisionculture,communicationbegantoenrollstudentsin1995,1996and1997respectively.Atpresent,therearemorethan2,000full-timestudentsinSichuanMediaCollege.

SichuanMediaCollegeoffers21courses,including13generalcoursesand8professionalcourses.Generalcoursesinclude:ideologicalandmoralcultivationandlegalfoundation,collegeEnglish,introductiontoMaoZedongThoughtandsocialisttheorywithChinesecharacteristics,basicprinciplesofMarxism,situationandpolicy,computerapplicationtechnology,physicaleducationandelectivecourses.
